AK Rubber was established in 1988 with the objective of supplying a complete cross-section of industry with a comprehensive range of industrial rubber products and plastic products.

This ranges from simple rubber washers, gaskets and seals to sophisticated dual hardness extrusions, high quality mouldings, rubber and/or plastic hoses and ducting with a wide range of associated fittings. We operate from our own premises situated conveniently on the M11 corridor, affording easy access to all parts of the country enabling us to meet the ever increasing demands of industry today.

Our list of products is vast; starting with a complete range of Polymer Sheeting that includes commercial and specification grades of Rubber, Nitrile, Neoprene, E.P.D.M., Silicone, Viton and Hypalon, Bonded Cork. Neoprene Sponge, E.P.D.M. Sponge, Silicone Sponge and Polyethylene Sponge. In addition, we are suppliers of industrial plastics such as Nylon, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Polyester and Polyurethane. This is complemented by a range of sealing and gasketing materials for more arduous environments where products such as Non-Asbestos grades, pure and reinforced Graphite and solid and expanded PTFEs are more suited.

Many materials can be supplied with a self-adhesive backing if required.

AK Rubber specialise in producing bespoke parts cut to the customer’s requirements. All the above materials are capable of being produced to any size or shape from your drawings and specifications.

We believe our tooling charges are some of the most competitive around today.

Our service does not end with cut items. We also offer a complete Rubber and TPE moulding and extrusion service.

We are happy to offer advice on materials at the design stage or simply quote against your drawings.

In addition to sheet materials which can be converted to seals, gaskets, strip, etc., we also supply a wide range of rubber matting for use in a variety of situations such as Electrical Safety, Stable, Antifatigue, Gymnasium and protection. We also offer Fine Fluted, Patterned, Antislip, etc.

Our Industrial Hose and Fittings Section is wide-ranging offering hosing solutions for most environments and conveying applications.

This is complimented by our Aquatic Section where we carry a vast range of hose, tubing and fittings to service the various garden and aquatic centre needs, usually on a 24 hour delivery basis.
